MPH invests in their future by taking on more Apprentices

Local disability services supplier, MPH Group, based in Gateshead, have offered permanent contracts to four of their recent apprentices and are now looking to recruit four new apprentices.

Jessica Warriner, and Lauren Johnson, both 18, and Abbie Nicholson-Wood and Levi Sewell, both 16, all started with MPH in 2011 and were working towards their Business Administration NVQ level 2.

All four girls impressed the MD of MPH Group, Alan Matthews, so much that he offered them permanent positions within the company. Alan said “it’s fantastic to be able to take on apprentices in the first place, but even better when they show real potential and work hard to prove that they are worthy of a permanent contract”. Lauren and Levi have already completed their NVQ Level 2 and are now working towards their Level 3 and Jessica and Abbie are just about to complete Level 2 before they move on to Level 3.

Lauren was thrilled when she was offered a permanent contract, she said:

I left school and went onto college to study A levels and I joined MPH after deciding that A levels were not for me as I wanted a more "hands on approach". Since joining MPH I have gained experience working in various departments including administration, invoicing, transcription and Customer Centered Training. I love the variety MPH brings.
