Performance characteristics:

This product has the features of high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area, high surface activity, low loose density, high-temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, high strength, high hardness, good toughness, good thermal conductivity and so on. Zirconium carbide is an essential high-temperature structural material with a high melting point, high strength and corrosion resistance. It has the characteristics of efficient absorption of visible light, a reflection of infrared light and energy storage.
 
The main purpose:
 
New thermal insulation and temperature-regulating textiles: Zirconium carbide has the characteristics of efficient absorption of visible light and infrared reflection. When it absorbs short-wavelength energy of less than 2μm accounting for 95% of sunlight, it can store energy in the material through heat conversion. It has the characteristic of reflecting infrared wavelengths exceeding two μm. The infrared wavelength generated by the human body is about ten μm. When people wear ZrC-containing textile clothing, the infrared light of the human body will not be efficiently emitted. This shows that zirconium carbide has ideal heat absorption and heat storage characteristics. The product can be used in new thermal insulation and thermoregulation textiles.
 
 
Applied to fibres: Adding an aqueous solution made of nano-zirconium carbide without any dechlorination treatment to the adhesive wire shows the characteristics of strong binding force, high pass rate, easy to form and so on. At the same time, it was also found that different zirconium carbide content and addition methods have a significant influence on the fibres near-infrared absorption performance. When the zirconium carbide content in the thread reaches two ten thousandths (weight), the texture's near-infrared absorption performance is the best. The NIR absorption effect added to the fibre sheath layer is superior to the result added to the core layer.
 
 
High-temperature resistant coating: Nano ZrC melting point is 3540℃. Zirconium carbide ceramics have excellent mechanical properties, especially under the conditions of high-temperature resistance and other harsh environments, they have high-temperature resistance, which is one of the indispensable materials in the field of aerospace.
 
 
Carbide: Zirconium carbide is an essential high-temperature structural material with a high melting point, high strength and corrosion resistance. Its excellent characteristics make it have a lot of application space on cemented carbide. The strength and corrosion resistance of cemented carbide with nano-ZrC has significantly been improved.
 
 
Metal coating materials: low-density loose zirconium carbide coatings have good thermal stress and insulation properties and can be used as insulating materials; high-density dense zirconium carbide coatings have excellent penetration resistance and can be used as protective coatings.
 
 
Nuclear industry: Nano ZrC has high-temperature strength, high hardness, small thermal neutron absorption cross section, and excellent radiation resistance. It is used as a new material for coating nuclear fuel particle barriers.
 
Abrasives: Nano-ZrC has a Mohs hardness of 8-9 and good thermal conductivity. It is an excellent material for brushes.
